Bonsai of the Month

How It Works

 

To enter our Bonsai of the Month, simply take an original photo of a bonsai that you have purchased from us. Post the photo on Facebook or Instagram, and then tag us #SimplybonsaiNZ so we can see your entry. Please note that we must be able to see the post, so ensure that either your post on Facebook or Instagram is set to public.

The photograph must be taken by you and must not be AI-generated, digitally created, or substantially altered using AI. You may submit a picture of your tree the following month if you do not win that month. The same tree cannot be submitted twice in the same year. Entries will be judged on overall presentation, creativity, composition and the way the bonsai is showcased, with one winning image selected each month. 

The winner will receive a $100 Simply Bonsai voucher, and their photograph will be featured on our Facebook, Instagram and website alongside their first name and town; details can be partially redacted for privacy.

By entering, you confirm that you own the photograph and give Simply Bonsai permission to repost and use it in connection with the competition and our promotional channels, with credit where appropriate. One winner will be selected at the end of each month. We will contact you via email and reveal the winner via social media. The voucher is not redeemable for cash.
